This was not an easy decision to make, however to protect the staff and to play our role in curtailment of COVID-19, I felt it was one which must be made.

CANCELLATIONS, Business changes

The Sentinel Courier is a weekly community newspaper serving the communities of Pilot Mound, Glenora, Crystal City, Clearwater, Mather and La Riviere. In addition there are subscribers all across Canada, including the North West Territories - folks who grew up in the area and want to stay in touch with their home towns. Under new ownership as of November 2009, the subscriber list has increased by almost 200, now reaching just over 1100 households weekly.

A wide circulation issue blankets all mailboxes in these communities as well as those in Cartwright, Baldur, Glenora, Mariapolis, St. Alphonse, Bruxelles, Swan Lake, Somerset, St. Leon, Manitou and Killarney increasing its readership by 2500 households. Each issue is full of local news and events as well as items of interest on a provincial, national and international level. Articles of a variety of interests are published each week in an effort to have "something for everyone".

If you wish to become a subscriber, just call during the office hours of 9-5 Tuesday to Friday and one of the staff will be more than happy to get you started.

If you are considering advertising with us, there's a link to the left with our advertising rates and ad dimensions. Again, feel free to call or email with any questions and the staff will be more than happy to answer them for you.

In addition to publishing a weekly newspaper, The Sentinel Courier also provides photocopying services, (both in black and white and colour), business forms, photo reproduction, social tickets, the sale of coloured paper, custom typing, laminating and other similar services.
